Fashion's Footprint

& the Caribbean

The fashion industry is one of the world’s most influential — but also one of its most polluting. From carbon emissions and chemical-laced wastewater to landfills overflowing with fast fashion, the industry’s impact on our planet is undeniable.

Behind the glamour lies a harsh reality: the cycle of mass production and overconsumption contributes to climate change, water contamination, and mountains of textile waste.

At CS FAB Forum, we believe fashion can do better — and the Caribbean can lead the change.

Trapped in Plastic: The Rise of the Microplastic Warriors

In a world drowned in synthetic chaos, three fearless women — Shanti, Yoshiana, and Zaina — woke up in the middle of a plastic nightmare.

Planet Earth had been compromised.

Since the first trace of microplastics was discovered, the planet spiraled into crisis. These invisible invaders — too small to touch, too stubborn to break — were everywhere. In the air. In the oceans. In our food. Earth had become a spinning sphere cloaked in microplastic confetti, choking its ecosystems and silencing its soul.

When traditional solutions failed, the world’s top scientists made a desperate call: induce global hibernation. Humanity was sealed away — wrapped in layers of plastic — while the brightest minds scrambled to solve what became known as the Plastic Crisis.

But instead, they created something worse:
The Death Roll — an indestructible, non-degradable synthetic armor meant to protect… but it trapped instead.

Years passed.

Then — like phoenixes rising from synthetic ash — Shanti, Yoshiana, and Zaina emerged. Not just survivors. Superheroes.

Their mission?
Wage war on microplastics.
Restore the balance of Earth.
Reclaim color, life, and clean air from the grip of petrochemical tyranny

With powers forged in darkness and purpose rooted in hope, these women are not just characters — they are the future.
